Scalare angelfish Can 2 scalare angelfish be kept in a 29 gallon woth a twig cat, clown pleco, a few corys, and some medium sized non nipping tetras? |
Long-term, no. A breeding pair of angelfish in a 29g is fine, on their own to spawn if that is the intention. Aside from this, angelfish should be maintained in a small group of 5 or more, in a 4-foot minimum tank. They are a shoaling fish, living in groups naturally. You can read more in the profile, click the shaded name, Pterophyllum scalare. |
Thaks Byron, I'll try to get a 55 gallon. |
