Hi there,

I recently took it upon myself to take of this fish as it was left behind in our new home. Not sure what type of fish it is and I've been trying to google it but no success. Hope someone here knows..

100%

he looks young, in a big enough tank?

They absolutely need a 48" 55g tank or more.

It will be a total terror in anything smaller if there are any other fish in with it, even at a young age they are aggressive.

Thanks everyone for the responses. I think you guys are dead on, I read up on it's characteristics and behavior and the description fits the fish pretty well. However now I'm facing a dilemma, I cannot get a bigger tank as I don't have the space or budget to maintain one. :-(

What are the other tank mates?

temaki 02-28-2012 12:53 AM

Luckily no other fishes, I found him by himself.

Tazman 02-28-2012 12:54 AM

What size is the tank?

beetlebz 02-28-2012 12:54 AM

what size tank is he in?
