Oh Willow, thanks for clearing that up... cause in Canada, "to waffle" means you keep changing your mind about what you want to say, or about your point of view.
So to waffle means to chat a lot or to talk a lot. Cool!! ....... Now where is the syrup?

Yes, I was just wondering that today too! Here in the states, to "waffle" means to change your mind a lot, just like in Canada!:-D

I wonder what "waffle" means in other parts of the world, except for that delicious food you put syrup on.

actually, we use waffle here in my little corner of the world as an expression of a violent force. for example..

WOAH! you see that kid on the skateboard? He just waffled his face on the sidewalk

or

did you hear about mary's car? She waffled a deer last night on her way home
