Ghost Shrimp Breeding in Freshwater?

As I understand it, Ghost Shrimp are nearly impossible to breed in freshwater. One of my four shrimp was recently spotted toting around a large clutch of green eggs. Is it safe to assume that these eggs will fail to hatch? Or can I hold out a sliver of hope for a new generation?

Parameters:
Volume-15g
Temp-80F
GH-150
KH-180
pH-7.8

Anything I can do to help their chances (besides adding salt, which my plants won't appreciate)?

Ghost shrimp don't like salt AFAIK so I wouldn't add salt at all. I had 4 females with huge amount of berries, all dropped them except I have one female right now hanging onto ONE egg. It's because they are difficult to feed that creates an issue so even if they hatch most starve to death. That and the other shrimp will eat them.

What do they eat in their infancy?
