Filter

I have a 30 gallon tank and on the box of the filter it said that the filter was made for 30 gallon tanks but it really doesn't look like it. Should I buy another filter? The only reason I'm hesitant is because their will be a lot of current running through the tank.

I am of the "Toolman Tim Rule of Thought Society" and I believe that more is better. I have a 30g tank that is filtered by (2) Marineland 660 powerheads (185 gph) and an Emperor 400 powerfilter (400gph). The tank still gets weekly water changes. The fish seem to be doing very well. There are no fish with their faces plastered to the aquarium glass.

I have a penguin 200 on my 30 gallon tank now and its good to go and the water is gorgeous, but before I had an aquatech 20-40 filter and a whisper 30 running together with no problems.
