So heres my new and updated list:D
Cherry Barbs or Neon dwarf Rainbowfish
These will be in a 56 gallon aquarium.
My first concern would be water parameters, you have fish with different requirements in this list. The Boeseman Rainbowfish need basic water, they do not do well long-term in soft acidic water. The rummynose Hemigrammus bleheri are just the opposite; while they may manage in basic water, long-term they will not last as they are wild caught and come from very soft and slightly acidic water. As do the rasbora and the hatchets, although the larger Silver Hatchet Gasteropelecus sternicla might manage if the water is not too hard.
My second concern is number of fish; no mention is made of the group size, but all these fish are shoaling fish that should be in groups. Some need larger numbers, like the rummys and hatchets. Assuming the 56g is a 4-foot tank, none of the fish are themselves too large, but all together there would be overstocking with the proper numbers of each species.
You can check all this in our profiles, all these species are included; second tab from the left in the blue bar across the top. When the name is used the same in posts as it appears in the profile, common or scientific, it will shade and you can click on that for the profile.
Ok well if i took the boesemans out, what would be a good substitute?
What are the tap water parameters?
