need biorb tank citique feed back Hi all- I'm looking to purchase a biorb 8 gallon tank to fit my living space. I have 1 beta so far and am curious what anyone thinks about these tanks compared to others. Is the filtration and light sufficient enough for live plants and tropical fish? is a biowheel sysyem such as eclipse a better way to go? I'm so confused by all the choices! Please Help! |
what kind of fish did you have in mind? just the betta? |
Not sure- I like the looks of the tank for the eight gallon I was hoping to house the beta and a couple of others that would be compatiple for climate and beta temperment- what do you think. I am open at this point and want to get the best tank for asmall size |
maybe a betta and some pygmy cories... I have albino (not sure the exact type) cories with my betta in a 10g and its one of my favorite tanks. I believe with the smaller surface area of the biorb you wouldnt be able to have regular cories in it, even with the pygmys it might be a stretch. its an odd shape, so im hoping someone else could chime in, but im thinking endlers or ember tetras instead of a betta |
