shrimp question

Which fish can go together with freshwater shrimp? What do they eat? I have never had them. No experience at all.

hi
shrimp will do well in a comunity tank :)
they eat the sinking catfish pellets, and any un-eaten
food left over from the fish, and sometimes will pick
at algae.
don't put them in with Cichlids.

Some Java moss and fine-leaved plants will make a fine sanctuary for the shrimps. A lot of cichlids do have the tendency of eating them. I would only put them in a tank with small tetras and rasboras.

We have a tank with tetras and cories. The barb tank has places to hide because a raphael catfish dwells there. The largest tank is quite heavily stocked, I suppose, and I wouldn't put anybody there.

Taking into account your info, I would put a couple of shrimp into the tetras' tank. By the way, do angels (being Cichlids) also attack shrimp?

They will certainly eat the shrimps.

Your raphael cat would probably eat as many shrimp as you could put in the tank.
