Daily Care Questions
Hi there, I just started my first tank and had a couple questions regarding how long I should have a couple things running:
How long should I leave my air pump on per day? Just to make sure, my filter should stay all the time, correct? and lastly, how long should my lighting be kept on? I've been keeping in on for about 12hrs a day (I have 6 live plants atm).
Glad to find this forum. Can't wait to spend more poking around the other topics.
Thanks for all your help
hi and welcome aboard.:)
lights i say no more than eight hours a day.
air pump just the evening for you to see.
your filter stays on all the time.
poke around and post plenty.
I leave my air pump running 24/7 it hasnt harmed anything plus I have CO2 running just in the day.
Thanks for the welcome Willow :)
Hey Shawn, is the Co2 a requirement? I have a heater, filter and air pump as it is for my tropical fish.
Wot, wot.
yes indeed,do remember your non-return valve.
