Hello hobbiest out there. I just want to know your opinion about the compatibility of guppies, cories and neon tetras.
considering they are all males. 25gallon tall tank.
and i want to know if my tank is over stocked and if they all get along well with the water parameters.
7x male Guppies
6x Neon Tetras
5x Peppered Cory
3x Panda Cory
Your on the threshold of being over stocked, as the compatibility, i would read up on there profiles.
Temperament and behaviour-wise, you're probably OK. The hesitancy would be the neons nipping the guppies if the mood strikes them, as it can. Environment can affect their mood.
More at issue would be water parameters. Guppy being a livebearer needs medium hard (or harder) water, with basic (above 7) pH. Neons will "manage" in slightly hard basic water, but long-term will be better in softer and slightly acidic water. The two named cory species are about the same as neons but Corydoras paleatus (Peppered) will be OK in the guppy environment more than the C. panda might.
