Need Help Identifying a Cory
This cory was sold to me under an assortment of corys; the shop keeper didn't seem to know which variety he is. The dark area in the picture will be iridescent blue and green when the light hits it. From my looking, I'm thinking it might be a bronze, but I wanted to see how others opinions went. I'm a newbie to keeping fish, so I know I have much to learn.

I'll still take more opinions if there are any others.

Yes, that is Corydoras aeneus, common name Bronze Cory, sometimes seen under other common names like Green Cory, even Emerald Cory which confuses it with Brochis splendens. We have fish profiles, second tab from the left in the blue bar at the top of the page, and if a common or scientific name is used in a post exactly as in the profile, it shades as it did here, and you can click on that to pop-up the profile info with photos.

Thanks; I saw the profiles, but I wasn't entirely certain from that all by myself. With a couple of confirming replies, I've got my answer.
