Convict cichlids tank size

Can two convicts survive in a 30 gallon tank with out ripping eachother apart? the tanks measurements are 36 long 17 deep and 12.5 wide.

A breeding pair yes, not sure if you have 2 males or 2 females if it will work.

hmmm, ok thank you, i havnt got the fish yet, i know how to sex them but not sure if i want babies.

I had 3 breeding pairs in a 40 gallon breeder so you should be ok. Just make sure you have enough caves/tubes to hide whilst one pair has fry.
