Help; fish not swallowing food
 

My betta fish seems healthy except it isn't swallowing food. He has an appetite and goes for the food but spits it out. He has liked his food and I just bought him some freeze dried blood worms which he eagerly nabbed, then spit it out, tries another, holds it, spits it out, tries another, and finally gives up swimming around and looking longingly at the food.

This has been going on for about 6 days. What do I do?!?!?!?

Is it just the blood worms he is spitting out, or does he do it with his normal food also? If it is only the blood worms he is spitting out then I would go back to your old food. Try cutting up a cucumber or zucchini, I know my fish love it. I've even put a slice of apple in there before too. They go nuts, haha I think they take after me.
