Hi there,

so i bought two catfish of the same spieces from my local petstore and the people working there couldn't give me a name just that they where "Assorted african catfish" and as soon as i got them home they begin fighting with each other (I've seperated them).
I'd really like to know the spieces, so I have an idea how big they'll get, if there known to fight, any special requirements e.t.c.
Sorry the pictures are so awful, they move abit to fast for my camera!
Please Help!!

Odicombe

Synodontis of some sort but cannot see clearly without a better picture.

Cannot answer the size until I know what they are 100%

If that is true, then you better return it, because this fish needs a least a 2,500 fish tank.

Very unlikely as they hardly ever appear in pet stores in North America.

They're definately black sharks, and I'm in the Uk. I'l probably take them back because one of them has already killed 2 of my 5month old angelfish fry and the other seems to be eating all of my plants. :-( Thanks for all your help though!

have you checked out planet catfish at all ?
and yeah if they're eating your fish,no point in keeping them, unless it's going to
be a species tank only.
welcome by the way. :-D
