Video of African killifhs in their habitat
This may be of interest to some, a video of yet another natural wonder. The way this fish finds a stream when its present habitat dries up is fascinating.

Wonderful video! I had never seen a killifish until a couple weeks ago at my LFS. There was a single beautiful yellow one, that was so alert and curious. It was a no for me, because I now have a half beak in my tank, which they said the killifish would kill. One day I want that fish, but need to do more research about keeping it.
The fish store told me that their eggs can blow around for years laying dormant, and hatch when it rains. Amazing stuff! Thanks for sharing Byron.
Amazing video! The species they showed was extraordinarily beautiful. Maybe I'd like to keep it one day. It's always fascinating to learn about Fish biology and ecology; in fact I know people who have devoted their whole life to those pursuits. I can't wait to see more of this series. Thanks, Byron!
Very interesting!! I thought the poor fish was going to die, not find water, very cool.
