I have noticed that my shrimp has a bunch of eggs on her belly. I have done a bit of research on my shrimps breeding. Apparently it is very difficult and I do not have a separate tank, so most definitely impossible to keep the larva alive. I do have a question though, because she has eggs does that mean that they are fertilized or do shrimp just produce eggs on a regular basis? Her belly also makes some pretty weird movements and she sometimes appears to be fanning the eggs or something. This seemed to happen very fast, I remember a day or two ago looking at her and not seeing anything and now her belly is very full. If anyone has any thoughts that would be appreciated, or maybe some tips for the future if I have another tank and I am able to try and raise the larva next time. Thanks!
this probably won't help..........
i had these shrimp in a large tank tears ago,and they actually
had babies,i don't know how they survived but they did,
you never know you may be lucky too.
