Best 45 gallon long tank stand?

Hey guys, just trying to figure out on what would be a good cheap 45 gallon long tank stand, if I could convert something into a tank stand or the likes. Dimensions are along 48" long, 15" wide, so it's pretty hefty. I was thinking of maybe a TV stand or a coffee table, but not sure if it could hold the full weight, as it'll be well over 500 lbs with the water and sand. Any suggestions or ideas? I would do a DIY, but I lack the tools and the funds to really invest into getting everything together. Thanks!

Seriously, buy an aquarium stand if you can't build your own. Most furniture is not designed to hold 500 pounds, especially modern tv stands. You should be able to find a new, real stand for less than $100. Not exactly super cheap, but allot cheaper than breaking your tank, making a huge mess and possibly hurting someone. Don't even think of letting it overhang on the ends, not even a little. :-) You can get this for $68:

I've had good success with Craigslist or thrift stores for this type of thing. I found the perfect size stand in a thrift store for $12, and sanded it down, and refinished with stain to a dark expresso color I wanted. Not a bad one day project, and it looks great.

I lived in Culver City for years, also North Hollywood - where are you in So California???

I'm located in orange county in Irvine, so not that many thrift shops for me. I'll check out one of my lfs that tends to have some stands standing around *so punny!* yea I'm done with the puns. I tried craigslist but one has the exact dimensions since my tank isn't standard size, or at least common enough.
