will they breed?

have 3 male guppys and i would like to add balloon mollys to my tank, how big will they get and if i get 1 male and 2 females ( i will have babies) but will the male guppies breed with the mollies and stress them cos they have 4 males chasing them

thanks for your help!!

The chances of them getting stressed is quite high but them actually breeding is something I have never seen though many members here will differ.

I would advise against baloon mollies because they are not a naturally occuring species and are much more prone to health issues due to humans "playing god".

How about a few platies instead? They stay smaller like the baloon mollies, and wouldn't breed, or get pestered by the guppies. I would recommend only 1 male per tank though because over the years many platies have bred with swordtails, which are more agressive in nature.

so with the balloon mollys i should to avoid but will the female platys(if i get a few females) will they get bred with the guppies and get stressed by 4 males (the platy and 3guppys) chasing them

thanks

Platies will not crossbreed with guppies so you're considerably safe.:)
