Somethings growing in my tank.
While I was feeding my fish tonight I noticed that there's a ton of little tiny white or clearish worms on my tank glass. Some move and some don't. I've never seen this before. The fish all look fine with no diseases that I can see. I'd take a pic but there's no way anyone would be able to see these things. Any idea what these may be?

Hi i dont know if this is much help but if you go to you tube abd search "wierd alien in my shrimp tank" this might be a similar creature, it also has a solution to get rid of them.

If they are moving, it may be Planaria, a non-parasitic flatworm. Do a google-type search and see if they match. Harmless worms, some fish will eat them, but their presence does mean too much food or waste in the substrate. I've never seen these in my tanks, even though i don't ever touch the substrate, perhaps because I have hundreds of Malaysian Livebearing snails that do too good of a job.

So I did do a little searching on the web and still haven't truely found exactly what I saw. I seached for Planaria and everything I see is highly magnified and look huge. However, within the past couple of days these mystery worms have pretty much all vanished. I saw a few but thats about it. I never really thought I was over feeding because the food is all gone within a few minuites. I'll have to keep an eye on it and see if they reappear.
