Hello, new here.

Hello all, name is Coydog429 and I have been reading this forum for about a month now. It was just reciently that I started posting. I got into keeping fish when I was a small child. My mom had anywhere from 4 -10 20g molly tanks at any one time while I was growing up. We once had a grandfather saltwater tank going. I live in the desert of Nevada and it is an absolute joy to keep fish way out here. Would be gald to hear of any other keepers way out here. :-D

Hey coydog429, I keep a bunch of Calico Mollies in a 75 gallon community tank.... 13 babies growing out.
They are so cute when they are little eye balls with a tail.!!

Welcome to TFK!!!

Welcome to TFK Coydog!! Glad you joined and hope you like it here. I am far from Nevada lol but still love the challenge of keeping fish. I have a 55 gallon with Angelfish and a 10 gallon with dwarf puffers both are planted tanks. Have not been in the hobby long but I am enjoying ever minute of it. Even when I am angry at my tanks for whatever reason. LoL

Oh I here you there lol. I have always had a tank no matter where I am at, but I have never been able to keep the rams :-( I would love to have some but have not figured out thier peramiters and my tank.

Didn't have much luck with the rams either. Even when they were raised in the same parameters my tank is/was. I think it was more due to food/nutrients as they always had to "fight" my angelfish for food. Needless to say they lost. :-(

They were the biggest thing in the tank besides the rubber nose pleco. Had those little guys forever! The next biggest thing in the tank was some danios.
