OK, I have decided to stock my tank mostly with small schools of tetras. I would like to have a sort of orange/red/yellowish theme of fish, so things like neons are out. :) I am too lazy to look through the various lists of species that are scattered over the internet trying to find those that would fit the color scheme.
I already have Von Rio Flames. Any suggestions as to what else I should look for? Thanks!
Any of these:
Diamond Tetra(Moenkhausia pittieri)
Black Phantom Tetra
Lemon tetras, rummy-nose tetras, serpae tetras, silver-tipped tetras
BLEEDING HEART TETRAS!
Colombian Tetras..they are awsome looking and pretty hardy fish
x-ray / pristella tetras are pretty.
Oo thanks all of you for the suggestions.
Glo-light tetras are pretty also :)
Is that for your 15 gallon bowfront? If so, you should not stock it too much, as it appears that it maybe already overstocked. Make sure you keep up with the maintenance and DO NOT overfeed. Eventually, the pleco will overgrow the tank and will need to be removed or your tank be upgraded.
Buenos Aires Tetra
Red Phantom Tetra
(One or two of these may already have been said)
Good luck choosing your fish! :P
