Red Flame Dwarf Gourami
I have 1 male dwarf gourami in a 29 gallon tank with some mollies and corys. The male gourami has been the only gourami in the tank for about 3 months. About 4 days ago I added 2 females in the hopes the male would pair up with one of the females. All the male does is attack the females whenever they get close. 1 of the females hides in the corner of the tank and bearly comes out to eat. The other female swims around a bit but has to hide whenever the male chases her. Please note that it does appear the male is showing aggression towards the females not mating behavior.
Question--Should I return the females before they get too streesed out and die, or should I give them more time to adjust?
I really hate to seeing the females all stressed out and hiding.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
