Corys

I would like to know if I could add some corys to my tank and if they would help keep the bottom clean? I have a 45 gal tank with 2 angels 1 redtail shark 5 rummynoses a pleco a upsidedown cat and a rosy barb

How agressive is your RTS? when he gets territorial, he wont tolerate the corries in such a small tank.. let alone the rest of the fish. I would honestly move the RTS or give him to a LFS just because they are not suited for a community tank.

It seems to stay by its self the rosy barb is the one that has been the most trouble

Hmm heres something you can try that may help.

Again, I would give up the RTS, hes gonna reach 6 inches and get mean, and in only a 45gal tank this isnt much room for the other fish to get away.

Once you ditch the RTS, Grab 5 more rosey barbs so they will school, the group will hopefully distract your bully barb, and his agression should subside somewhat.

After that, I would say green light on the cories!

Thank you very much I am also hope to get a new tank around 100 to 150 gals so I can add a few more

I bet your RTS would love a 150 gal tank :)

I'm with Greg.

Don' add any cories until you have the RTS in the bigger tank, and once you have some cories would be lovely. With what you've got you could even go with 2 schools of 2 different varieties if you liked. 6 of one type and 6 of another. They prefer groups of 6 or more as you probably know. :)
