Plant food with baby fish

Is liquid plant food (Seachem Flourish) ok to use with a baby betta? I added the plant food today and got a baby betta thats like maybe an inch long.

I continued the use of flourish comprehensive with sword tail fry in my 29 gallon tank with out any observed ill effects.

Provided you do not overdose, Flourish Comprehensive will not affect fish, plants or invertebrates. And you would likely have to overdose a fiar bit, but I wouldn't risk it just to find out how much. Plants themselves can take up many metals (iron, copper, zinc, nickel, manganese are all necessary nutrients but are at the same time heavy metals that in excess are toxic to all life) so it is probably not an issue even with a slight overdose. But fry are obviously more sensitive to these metals. Used at the dose recommended on the label, there will be no problems.

Byron.
