what fish to go with Bala and tiger barbs
 
I have 60 gallon tank and it currently has 3 "small" bala sharks, 4 "med" tiger barbs and a "small" pleco. i want to add more fish but not sure what kind i can put in

i want a variety of fish, like a community tank, but i didn't know before i got the barbs that they aren't really community fish so yea

please help,

Best thing would be to add more tiger barbs, the larger the group the better, but at least eight. There are different color morphs (albino, green, etc.) that are the same species and could be added for variety.

Agree. The Tiger Barb natural aggressiveness will usually be minimized in larger groups, as noted in our profile.

By the way, you do realize that the Bala Shark attains 14-16 inches, and requires at the very least a 6-foot tank though 8 feet is better? And the group should be five minimum, as this fish is highly social. Read more in the profile, click the shaded name.
