HELP! Swim Bladder Disease

I have two fish that are responsive but swimming inverted.

They are convict cichlids.

I do not know how to cure this. Please advise. Quarantine? Remedy?

Thank you in advance for helping my floating friends.

Sorry if it's not much help, but my only advice is to increase fiber... try feeding them some peas (squezed out of the skin) if they'll eat it.

there are several other fish in the tank that are not exhibiting signs of the disorder, should i remove the three that are and place them in a quarantine tank?

People will probably argue with me.. but I say no.

In my experience, dropsy isn't caised by anything contagious, and it's better to not stress your fish out any more than neccessary.

If they become non-responsive and lethargic, then remove them. As long as they seem active, they have a chance.

two are pretty active, however there is one that just sits upright in the corner of the tank, im thinking it best to remove him? do you concur?
