Reasonable price on used 180g?

A LFS is downsizing and is selling its large aquariums. I'm interested in one of the freshwater 180g he has. The tank looks to be in great shape with no cracks or chips anywhere, silicone seals look solid, no scratches on the glass and its about 4-5 years old. His prices are $500 with tank and light ONLY or $700 for tank, light, 2 filters and a heater. There is no stand or hood at all. Whats your thought on these prices? This size tank seems to be hard to come by in my area unless buying everything brand new. Any advice is appreciated.

Sounds ok. Try and haggle a bit, if it's a small store that isn't a franchise, you can often haggle the prices down. You could probably get down to about $470 at least if you tried

Depends a lot on location and what is available around you. By your description of the tank, those prices are kinda high compared to my local prices. However that size tank is not terribly uncommon around here. If the tank and equipment is sound and in good shape the price isn't too bad.

Its a small business so I do plan to talk him down. Im hoping to get it for $450. That would make me feel great. Anything else I should look for?
