Pictures of first planted tank-55g
 

Picked up the plants today for my tank. I ended up getting 3 Swords, 2 Java Ferns, 2 Anubias although it was potted as one, 1 Contortionist Val and a clump of Riccia. I also got maybe 5 or so small shrimp with the Riccia. Other inhabitants right now are a dozen or so MTS. Tomorrow I am getting 8 Platies for it. It's a little bare right now but I hope the plants do well and fill it in. I might add a plant here or there later on depending on how it grows. I'll post up more pictures in here as it goes on.

I really like your driftwood. My kind of platies are you getting?

Thanks, got it at the LFS today and it was a pain to boil. Didn't completely fit in my pot. lol

Its lookin good. What kinda swords are those? Just asking cause some will get kinda big and you might wanna move the away from the glass just a little to give them room to grow.

The two on the right side I probably would just a little. The one on the left would probably be alright. Now just is just my thinking and probably would be fine like they are. Just thinking they would look a little better if they were moved just a little bit.

Here is an updated picture. I just added the rocks to it and rearranged the plants a little bit. Think it looks pretty good.

yes it really does look good,just pop that plant back in though lol

lol, which one? Both the swords have sprouted way up and are growing roots now. I need to trim and see about replanting them.
