Is this enough cardinal tetras?
I have a 20 gal. fish tank with 4 rummynose tetras, 3 pepper corys, 1 bristlenosenose pleco, and 6 cardinal tetras. I'm thinking about getting another rummy, 2 fem. huppies, and 3 bronze corys. But before I do I want to know if 6 cardinal tetras are enough. Right now they seem really happy and are schooling together and with the rummys. I'm open to suggestions and advice. Thanks a lot.:fish:
The cardinals will be OK at 6, but you need more rummys as noted in the other thread. Forget the guppy, the rummynose tetra will be much better (=happier and thus healthier) with more. Also the cardinals and rummynose are better in soft water, the guppy is not.
Three more cory is not so much of a problem, though I probably wouldn't. The additional rummys are more critical.
