Need Some Group of Fishes !!!

Hi Experts !!!

I need to set up an Active Aquarium , some thing like, cichlids with some fast moving fishes... For Example Blood Parrots, Firemouth with Rosy Barbs . So, I require some effective and good combinations of other type of fishes for my set up. Could anyone pls. help me out !!!

i guess that would depend on your tank size. the most active fish in my tank are a pair of red tail tinfoil barbs. i had 6 but had to scale down to two because the activity bordered on insanity. they school with and are about the same size as my silver dollars, but when food hits the tank, well it is crazy, they will not let a flake hit the tank floor. visitors to my home always request i feed the fish and the craziness lasts until every crumb is gone. from what i understand there are two types of fish commonly sold as red tail tinfoil barbs, one gets about 6 inches long(mine) and the other gets close to a foot so do your research.

Thanks Tony ! I was just asking some good combinations of CICHLIDS with Some Fast moving fishes(which needs to BE compatible with each other) . So that.... I could enjoy by having both cichlids and active fishes playing each other in my tank... Currently I have Blood parrot with Rosy barbs.. so i need to just know the other variety combinations which could be a REAL TREAT for my eyes !!!!

well the barbs are too fast to get caught and are non-agressive, the most they do is run over fish to get food.

so along with these barbs what cichlids can be combined?

unless you get some crazy eye-ball eaters, i dont think many ciclids would bother these guys, and the these barbs might bum-rush and veer away from the ciclids at most, just to get a reaction. but definately get another opinion as i'm not a ciclid expert
