He/she is 8 months old and 10 inches long! Looks like a channel but I got him in the same tank as pictus catfish at a local store when he was only a couple inches.

The pictures a little blurry but it may be a albino channel cat. How big is your tank?

I believe its a amino channel catfish because i have one that isn't albino and i was wander the same thing for a while then i went fishing and caught one lol and it looked exactly the same mine is 13" right now he is about to out grow his tank and want to get rid of him but can't find a home and don't want to throw him in a lake but that is what he is i believe

i want anothe channle man id love to take him up where i am thier is a pond filled with channle cats ppl go thier just to feed em like i do but every now an than ill throw in a line heres a pichttps://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=3&theater its a pond that has air raters an it must have 25 good size channels thats where i get all my channels go when they get to big

You only have a 55 gallon tank....you may need a bigger tank? If that is an albino channel cat, they can get to 3-4 ft long and close to 35 lbs! I just Googled it, it also said "becareful they grow fast"!

im located in the use in west virginia i don't know how to post pictures but i will get new pictures in my fish tanks just look at my profile and go to the lil catfish tank and his pictures will be on there
