Is there evidence to sugest that this is actually possible , and if so, does it have to be male guppy to female Molly , or male Molly to female guppy ??

it has to be a male guppy and female mollie the other way the babies are too big it' doesn't work and they are called Muppies.

i also believe the resulting fry are born sterile.

With endlerxguppies it seems that way with my batch, probably the same with mollies.
