fantastic pictures, tanks are lovely thanks for sharing,:) |
A job well done, Mike!:welldone: Your sevs and aro are quite gorgeous. |
Hi Mike, those are absolutely stunning tanks - all of them, and I love your gold sevs. Are those real plants you have in with them, because if so, I want to know how you do it - mine ripped my plants apart and I've had to opt for silk ones instead. Anyway, welcome back to the forum :D |
Thanks folks, Yes they are all real plants, they all come from my 180 litre planted community tank the Vallis goes wild in there and I transplant it every now and again, Ive found the Sevs leave the Vallis and Amazon swords alone therewas 1 plant I had in the tank that got stripped in seconds. They are pretty well fed too which I am sure helps, There are 6 babies in the growout tank. Mike |
Looking really good! :) I envy your circumstances that allow you to have so many large tanks! |
Cheers Falina, it took alot of convincing the ball and chain especially when the 8ft tank was empty and I buggered off to the states for a month and then another month cycling it, but when she found out how much it cost new and how much I paid plus she loves it now its full of fish. |
Out of interest, what are you feeding the sevs? |
They get prawns, squid, cockles, tetra prima catfish pellets, cucumber and even a bit of chicken liver ( for the Polypterus but the Sevs take anything) |
