36 Gallon Stocking
I just recently bought a 36 gallon bow tank (30"L x 15"W x 21"H)
2 filters - Eheim 2215 and the Aqueon Quiet Flow 30 HOB Power Filter that the tank came with.
It will definitely have (they will be moved out of my 10g into this tank):
1x Albino Bristlenose Pleco
1x Oto Catfish
1x Mystery Golden Snail
We would like to add as the "main" fishes (we really want these two for this tank):
1x Angelfish (don't know what kind, and is there one that can work with this set up?)
1x Dwarf Gourami (blue or flame) - Maybe one of each if both are females?
And these fishes as possible additions and not completely set on:
6-8x Golden Zebra Danio
1-2x Red Wag Platy
1-2x Sunset Fire Platy
Any suggestions? Would this work?
For one thing, go buy at least 2 more Oto Cats. They're school fish, and should be kept as such. Angelfish will not work, they need to be kept in groups of 5 in their own 55 gallon. I'm not sure about both of them being female, I think they would fight and the female are, quite honestly, pretty ugly. If you stick to that plan, along with my tips, it will not be overstocked.

I agree on the angels being unsuitable. And active danio are not good tankmates for sedate angels even if the space was adequate. Knowing your water parameters would help us narrow down possibilities. And you might want to check our fish profiles section under the second tab from the left in the blue bar across the top of the page. Each profile includes data on tank size, number of fish, compatibility, etc.
