after a month, this is my current tank now, i added red plants but dont know the name, but luckily its alive there, it keep pumping new leaf, i also removed several fish to make it looks more harmony. im now waiting my java fern at the front left to grow higher, with succifient high it will create "stairs" effect right in the front of the red. any comment and suggestion will be appreciate, maybe i can do something while waiting that fern grows. here is the info : tank dimension 80x40x40cm, 1x15watt, over head filter, no CO2, liquid fertilizer once per week.

I love it the only thing I would change is to add a black background so the plants/fish stand out more. You could use posterboard its cheap and looks good.

thanks amanda for your suggestion, i will try to add black background to see how it will looks like. so many tanks you have there, good job.

Very nice. I agree though a black background would really make your plants pop!

sure u can have a tank like me, it is very possible, or even much better than my. just pick the right plants, low light or low requirement plants, put algae eaters, and watch the result. thanks for your comment.
