Hi there, nice to meet you i'm also new. Funny you mentionned platies because i just added some to a 55 gallon tank before transferring my angels to it, thought they would add a bit of colour. Before i had a chance to move the angels, the platies had babies. Do they eat their fry? Its saturday nite here and no chance to get one of these fry net before monday.

It's best to ask questions about the fish in other sections.

Hello I am happy to report that the fry are doing fine. They are in a ten gallon tank with the two moms and a few snails. I wanted to take the fry out for fear that they might be eaten but you can not get close to them with the net.I also read that the platy moms are less likely to eat the fry than most. fishmom3 46gallon 2 dwarft Gourami 4zebra danios 3corycats 4platies 2rainbows 5 glowlight tetras 1apple snail
