attaching anubias to malasian driftwood
hello, i need advice on how to attach anubias to the driftwood... i tried tying them down (not too tight) with cotton thread... even after 3 weeks they still havent attached themselves...
any suggestions plz.
Patience, it can take a good 2 weeks to 2 months for the roots to really get ahold of the driftwood. When I cut the roots of mine down to nubs, it takes about 6 wqeeks for the roots to become grabbers, the green roots that seem to hold the plant anchors I have the best.
i have a 5 gallon tank with 10W florosent bulb...
is that good enough... i was told that anubias dont require much lighting.
should i upgrade.
i only have 2 zebra danios and 2 cherry barbs in them.
Should be plenty of light for the Anubias. The fish might appreciate a larger tank but as long as you maintain the water parameters really well they should be fine.
i just use fishline and forget about it.....
