Amazon sword growing terrestrial?
 

Hi all, I have a very fast and healthy growing amazon sword in my tank, when i purchased it there was a long stem, with no leaves on it, going straight to the surface with what looked like flower buds on top. It never grew or did anything before.
Since I have upgraded my lighting though the main plant has flourished! And at the top of my stem I have 2 new baby swords! One is slightly under the waters surface and the other is right out almost touching the lid. They each have a little root that's just hanging there right now. I am wondering if it would work taking the one thats already out of water, and planting it in a flower pot?
I know where i got my swords from they grew them terrestrial for a bit then submerged them, do you think it would work?

Yes, that would work. However, these plants are used to high humidity, therefore if you are in a very dry region, they will dry out and die so some people put them in mini greenhouses.

True i was thinking about potting it, giving it some time to grow in very moist soil and then possibly putting in with my snake? Humidity is average-high in there.
