Please ID My Live Rock Growths
Pretty sure #4 is a spider web.
What kind of spider?..It would help if the pictures were the size I uploaded them..they were shrunk.
Sorry, I was just joking......I am a newb and learning all this myself.
Looks like you have some Sponge growing there. Whats are your phosphate levels?
I just added these rocks so the sponges etc were there when I added them to my aquarium. I haven't tested for phosphates but I know they have to be low now. I did a large tank change with RO because I recently found out water from my new tap ( I just moved) has high Ammonia & Nitrates. Like .50ppm NH3 & 5.0ppm NO3. I don't mind encouraging growth but I do want to make sure the levels aren't so high to harm the fish. I mean in nature there are some levels of Nitrates & Ammonia. I will monitor to ensure the bacteria are eating them up.
