will this alone angelfish survives?
hi, i put small angelfish into my tank, he is just about 5cm meansure, he is black, he eats a lot and healthy. my question is, does he feels empty or alone there? he lives with livebeares, gourami and neons, sometime he chase the smaller fish but he never fights with gourami. should i add 1 more angelfish to accompany him then pick all the small one? thanks before.

Hmmm well livebearers and Angelfish live in different water parameters so don't know how well that's going to work out for you. Also when the Angel gets bigger it will eat the smaller fish like the neons for sure. You should also never house angels and gouramis together. Also if you keep the Angel you are going to need some shade plants as they live in dark waters and won't do so well with all that light. On a different note. I like the way your tank looks shade will help with the rest of your fish as well.

ic, thanks boredomb, i notice that local breed angelfish has adept to life in wide range water parameter, they are more hardy than imported angelfish, but of course they are not as beautifull as imported one. i've heard that anabantids cant be put with angelfish, but my gourami and angelfish seem ok to life together, they eat together, swim here and there together, but if they starting to fight i will pick up the gourami.
