Would a Mystery Snail be comfy in my tank?
I'm considering adding a Mystery Snail to my tank. I don't really need it for algae concerns (although i consider it a plus), I would just like to add some variety. It is a 38gl tank, heavily planted, with semi-aggressive fish (mainly tiger and rosy barbs).
My concerns are that my fish will eat the snail. Or that the snail will eat my plants.
Thanks for any info!
Mystery snails are an easy target for many semi-aggresive fish, so I would add one with caution. They don't really eat algae, and do eat quite a bit at full size, so make sure to supplement with something like shrimp pellets.
