Cherry Barb Fry Help
So I was looking in my tank tonight about to turn off the light and I noticed a tiny cherry barb baby fish.. then another.. and I think a 3rd! I havent been trying to breed them or anything but I have a heavily planted tank and apparently a few of the eggs didnt get eaten by the other fish. The tank consists of 7 Harlequin Rasboras, 7 Cherry Barbs (well now 9 or 10 counting the babies haha) and 3 Oto Cats. I would love to help these little guys/gals survive but not sure what to do..?? I dont have another tank at present... short of buying another tank are there any suggestions? Chances of them surviving as is with the other fish I mentioned? Thanks for your help in advance. I hope they make it through the night! Go swim in the water sprite little fishies that'll protect you haha.
I think since you have some floating plants they definitely have a chance of surviving ^^ that always is a big help, just make sure to crush up some flake for them and aim some of it toward where they hang out, though not all of it so as to not make the adults go toward them. Either way there is always a possibility, I say good luck with them as always with any babies <3 So CONGRATS and GOOD LUCK with your fry <3 I will keep an eye on the thread for updates :-D
