Now this really is a large home aquarium

Just to get you drooling, here's a truly large home aquarium. Came across this while digging through older issues and can't remember posting it before.

But on a more serious note, for those who buy potentially large fish that will need larger tanks--like a red tailed shark for the existing 20g--take note of the author's advice in the last two paragraphs.

Very cool. Thanks for sharing. Lucky fish and people in that house. I have a friend (I've mentioned this before) who not only doesn't clean her 10 gal tank more than 4 times a year, she has a Red-tail Shark in the tank. She gets defensive if I bring it up, saying that he's doing fine, because he's still alive after 6 years. I do feel so sorry for fish that are kept in small tanks when they are meant for more room.

I gotta admit, this made me drool. I've longed to have a tank like this except with sterlet and other small species of sturgeon. A girl can dream, can't she?

And I thought basements were only for storing things.
I don't think I ill get a tank quite that large. Maybe 20 gallon will be my limit or I will have to decide between wife and fish.:-)
