white poop from platy
Noticed a string of white poop from him today, got him 5 days ago along with 2 other platies.Tank is cycled, 55 gallon. 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite,5 nitrate, 8.3 ph. I've given them a variety of food, veggie flakes, tropical flakes and brine shrimp, even soaked the shrimp. They all seem fine ,no signs of stress. They seem to like to eat the goo from my fake plants and decorations. Other tank mates are 5 zebra danios and 2 giant danios. Will be giving the giants to a friend later this week
From what I have seen, poop comes in all different colours and I wouldn't be too worried as long as the fish is behaving normally.
It is what it is - no worries unless there's some other signs of illness.
