I have two female three spotted gourami's, they are both around 2 1/2" long. Both have this weird game where they case eachother around the tank and when they catch one another they just lightly bump eachother, they have never bit or nipped eachother. I got two females because I thought there would be no aggression, but I really don't think there is any aggression because they both do it like they enjoy it. I even seperated both and both were very depressed until I reunited them they seemed to be dancing with eahother.
Anyway just wondering if anyone else has noticed this behavior in their three spotted gourami's?
Poeple on this site keep saying gourami's are very peacful, but not so much when housed with the same breed. Two males will fight and nip fins, two females are very active together. I am guessing but they must be very peacful on their own.
