feeding freeze dried brine shrimp

i just bought some freeze dried brine shrimp and am wondering if there is anything special about feeding it.

I have heard that with freeze dried food people letting it soak in a cup of tank water for a few so it doesn't swell in the fish's stomach. I know have heard that with freeze dried bloodworms don't know if it applies with brine shrimp or not? Though I would think it would. I have no experience with freeze dried food though so might wanna wait for someone else to answer.

Boredomb is right. I soak any and all freeze dried foods before feeding them to my fish.
