Scratches...Help

What is the best, most effective way to remove light scratches from my glass tank?

jim21 09-18-2007 12:26 AM

That's a great question, and best answer I've ever found is that if the scratches aren't too deep, i.e. you can't feel them with your finger nail, you may be able to buff them out with cerium oxide. But it's not easy or pretty. Supposed to be safe for fish though.

I'll be interested to see the other replies and suggestions, my older tanks look forward to it. ;)

Hope that helps,

I'd also like to know the answer. I've noticed a strange influx of scratches on my tank lately. Only thing is, I can't tell if they're inside or out!

to the best of my knowlage, apart from
jim21's suggestion,unfortunatly i think that
the only other thing would be to turn the tank around,
however for people with Huge tanks, then that would not
be an option.
:(
