So yesterday I fed my new female honey gourami, and noticed something cool. My tetras always scatter in fear when they see my hand when I feed them. The gourami didn't even care about my hand, and just stayed there. Then, this morning, i tried hand feeding her an algae wafer, and she ate it! Do all honey gouramis act like this?

I have never tried to hand feed mine, it's usually the last to meander up to the surface to feed, in fact finds flakes on the way floating down to the bottom. But I will say that when I sit by my tank, my Pearl Gourami come to see me and reaches forward with it's feelers to "touch" me... if it could thru the glass. I have always loved Gouramis for that reason. They never do well with other gouramis in the tank tho, they get aggressive. Dr Jekyl and Mr Gourami kind of thing.
