In honor of my old aquarium fish, whose sacrifice cannot be forgotten.
I built this aquarium, and then rebuilt it again. It has been a long journey to the glorious peak of a successful aquarium. Here I commemorate those who could not make it to this point. My beloved crowntail betta, Poseidon. He brought joy to my heart with his liveliness and majesty. I could never forget my five phantom tetras, who cycled my tank. I could not be managing a great, healthy tank without their contribution, and sacrifice. Last, but not least, my cherry shrimp. They always amused me with their humorous antics. They fell prey to an ammonia spike and low pH. These fish gave their lives to cycle my tank and must be remembered.
Sweet. So many fish give up their lives and go through so much. Much success from here on out. :-)
Well.. you could have a great healthy tank without any fish dying. Hopefully if you begin another tank you'll remember these guys and go with fishless cycling next time :)
i added fish to this tank because they finished my cycle. Female honey gourami, neon tetras, and a snail, who survived cycle. Everyone's happy and healthy.
Aw! That was a nice story. So sorry to hear about the tank.
