Howdy everyone ... oh gosh did I just say Howdy .. Yep yep I did

Well Howdy to everyone here :) .. I have been wanting to start up a smaller 12 - 24 Gallon Salt tank to have Corals and shrimp and crabs and smaller colorful fish in it for a while now, but I never got the gumption to do it till now. So I am here for advice and the ability to ask silly questions that will probably come off as noobish at times :)


Little about myself .
I am a 31 yo Network engineer. I am a huge animal lover had and some fish when I was a little tyke. However, I never kept up with the hobby. I enjoy Golf, the outdoors, hanging out with my buds, and geeking out on the computer when there is inclement weather around.

wow this is starting to sound like a "Personals" add lol

My Girlfriend is an AVID fish lover and has 3 tanks of her own so she got me reintroduced to the hobby and relaxation that the tanks can bring to the home.

Well enough about me I think I am going to start searching through the site to see if I can find some "Beginners Guides" or something allon those lines .. I just wanted to stop by and say hello! :)
